Introduction:

Mohamed ElHusseiny Architects (MHA) is a multi-disciplinary firm offering a complete range of professional services in the fields of Architecture, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Construction Supervision and Management.

The firm has extensive experience in residential and commercial development, office buildings, scientific research & medical facilities, as well as hotel and tourism developments.

MHA through the variety of its members' specializations and experience enjoys a rich and dynamic mixture of knowledge, talent, and professional expertise.

MHA's strong contacts and close cooperation with distinguished international architectural and engineering firms in the U.S and Western Europe ensures the highest degree of professional performance.

Goals:

MHA's goal is to pursue excellence in the design and construction of sustainable buildings combining function, efficiency, and high aesthetic values, preserving, developing and enhancing the cultural heritage and local identity of the environment in which they are built.

Mohamed ElHusseiny is the principal in charge of design and management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc) from Cairo University (1976), and a Master of Science in Architecture (S.M.Arch.S) from M.I.T (1987), in addition to graduate and professional development studies at Harvard University (1987 & 1998).

Mr. ElHusseiny draws on over thirty years of local and international professional and academic experience in the field of architectural design, construction supervision and management.

Our portfolio of previous projects includes:

  • The "Oasis", "Bashayer", and "Oasis Sea View" apartment buildings in Hurgada, Egypt. Three luxury apartment buildings offering quality services and amenities (swimming pools, roof gardens, central security and satellite reception systems, etc.)
  • Preliminary design for the French School and Cultural Center in Hurgada.
  • Award winning designs for Model Schools in arid and rural areas, for the Egyptian Educational Buildings Authority.
  • Award winning design for a Hotel and Tourist resort in Hurgada.
  • Competition entry for the research and administration facilities of the Egyptian Electronics Research Institute, Heliopolis, Cairo.
  • The Dreamland International Hospital. Dreamland, 6th of October City. Egypt, for "The Dreamland Development Company" Architectural design development in conjunction with the architectural firm "Rosser-Rockport" of Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.
  • The Dreamland International School. Dreamland, 6th of October City. Egypt, for "The Dreamland Development Company" Architectural design development in conjunction with the architectural firm "Rosser-Rockport" of Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.
  • Master plan for a 10 million M2 Industrial Park at the new Gulf of Suez Industrial Development Area (Ain-Sokhna), for the Allied Industrial Development Co., in conjunction with White, Young, Green, Consulting, Ltd. - U.K.
  • Preliminary design for the Hurgada Hilton Plaza Hotel extension: (New building to house 40 guest rooms on the waterfront by the marina), for The Arab Investments Company.
  • Peliminary design for the Skylight Mall and Commercial Center (7000 M2 of retail and office space) for the Skylight Development Co. Ain-Sokhna, Suez.
  • Preliminary design for a 200 room, four star hotel and connected tourist facilities on a 14 000 M2 site, for "Al-Wady" Touristic development Co - Maryouteya, Guiza.
  • Preliminary design for a 65 room four star hotel in Hurgada, Egypt, for "Professional Real Estate and Touristic Development Co."
  • The Hurgada Hilton Plaza Hotel beach and marina area development, for the Arab Investments Co.
  • The "Mahmeya" Eco-tourism resort on Giftun Island, Hurgada, for El Alia Development Co.
  • The "Nawara" tourist resort and commercial center in Hurgada (phase1), for "El Takamol Real Estate and Investments Co."
  • The ICLARM aquaculture research facility at Abbassa, Sharkeya, for the International Center for Living Aquatic Resources management (under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture).
